Welcome to Soggy Mountain Bloodhounds. Here we are striving to raise Healthy, sound, true to type bloodhounds .Its only after years of research I started with the Bloodhound in 1999. Since then I have been blessed with many nights of no sleep,vet bills,holes dug to the center of the earth,tables chewed,drool stains on the walls,toys destroyed and my favorite,my "dog" clothes. Some people ask "why a bloodhound". The answer I give is this,,the love,kind heart,silly ways,and always a laugh. They offer such noble strong power that no other hound can offer.With a look of dignity to put you under a spell. To stand back and watch a bloodhound work will make your hair stand. To have a bloodhound come to you as its master but yet knowing they are smarter than you. With the proper owner the bloodhounds can be your best friend,show companion,or working partner.Because of this I will never be without a bloodhound. No this breed isn't for every person but most will agree you can not live with just one. The bloodhound is not owned but it will own you.
